The Three Horseshoes, Harston is one of those places that makes you ask yourself, “Why have we never been here before?” This warm and welcoming pub/restaurant is situated on the Harston High Street - just a short journey out of the city on the Cambridge Road, towards the A10.

For those of you that are familiar with The Navigator pub in Little Shelford, The Three Horseshoes, Harston should feel like a home from home - as both pubs are, and have been run by the same family for some years now.

The Three Horseshoes, Harston is a large building, with a welcoming atmosphere – as you enter, the bustling bar is the first thing you will see, usually occupied by friendly local faces or diners having a drink while they wait for their table to be set. As you make your way into the restaurant area of the pub, you will see colourfully decorated furniture, flowers decorating the tables and plenty of smiling faces, enjoying the superb range of authentic Thai dishes that The Three Horseshoes, Harston has made its name on. As with The Navigator, The Three Horseshoes, Harston has a motto, which sums up their menu perfectly – Simply Great Thai Food!

The kitchen team at The Three Horseshoes, Harston is comprised of a number of highly skilled chefs that have moved over to Cambridge from Thailand and have used the highest quality fresh ingredients to create a genuinely authentic Thai menu that has to be tasted to be believed. The menu is broken down into a number of sections - Starters, Thai Stir Fry, Thai Curries, Noodles, Vegetarian and Soups – a number of tasty extras are available including a customer favourite - Thai Prawn Crackers, with Sweet Chilli Sauce.

The Starter menu is full of delicious appetisers, including Squid rings served with sweet chilli sauce, home made Thai fish cakes, Tom Yum Soup (which is a authentic Spicy soup with either vegetables, chicken, beef, pork or prawns) Tempura Thai Prawns and much more.

The Thai Stir Fry section also offers a wonderful selection of far-eastern flavours, with dishes that range in spiciness - you can choose which meat or fish dishes you would like, or you could go for a mixed dish, like the Phed Pad Kaprouw - which is made from prawn, chicken, beef and pork, stir fried with fresh chilli, pepper, mushroom and broccoli.

The Thai Curries menu offers a number of dishes that the keen Thai enthusiast will recognise, dishes include the Chicken or Pork Gang Ped Gai/Moo, which is a Red Curry with coconut milk, bamboo shoots and Thai aubergine, or Beef Gang Kheaw Wan Nuea - a Green Beef Curry with fresh basil and Thai aubergine. Again you can choose which meat, fish or duck dishes you would like in your curry.

The Noodle section offers classic dishes such Pad Thai or Thai Chow Mein and the Vegetarian dishes are a real treat for those who are not so familiar with vegetarian cuisine, including rare delights such as Gang Kua - a Red Mushroom Curry with coconut milk, baby corn, onion and pepper and the Pak Pad Khing, which consists of vegetables stir fried with ginger, mushroom, broccoli, onion, pepper and mangetout.

Serving times for lunch are 12.00-14.30 Monday-Friday and evening service is from 18.00-21.30 from Monday-Saturday.
