Frieda Hughes’ Poetry and Paintings posted on 8 August 2011
Frieda Hughes has won acclaim in two separate creative fields: as a poet and as a visual artist. She has published five collections of poetry in the US with Harper Collins, four of which are available through Bloodaxe Books in the UK. Her paintings and other art works have been exhibited extensively in the UK and in Australia.
This performance will, for the first time, combine her poetry and paintings in a dialogue created especially for the Festival of Ideas.
