Ruddigore posted on 15 June 2012
In 1977, the South Anglia Savoy Players were formed to play the works of Gilbert and Sullivan. Since then the group have performed these works across England, Europe and the United States. The musicians have also played every year of The International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival at Buxton since its debut (an accolade no other group has achieved). They also regularly play at the Waterford Festival in Ireland where they have won many prizes. The group’s interpretation of Ruddigore is produced and directed by Stephen Kenna and will be featured at the Buxton Festival on Thursday 2nd August.
