La Raza first opened its doors to the public in April 2003 and has since gone on to establish itself as one of the most dynamic venues in the city, opening 7 days per week, all year round. During the daytime you’ll find a relaxed café atmosphere serving a selection of smooth barista coffees - food is served between the hours of 12:00-15:00 and 19:00-22:00 - offering a broad rage of dishes. You’ll find everything from Toasted Ciabattas (during the daytime) to Fresh Seafood Paella and their delicious range of meat, seafood and vegetarian Tapas dishes. Accompanying these with some of the best-loved cocktails in town, artistically created to perfection and you’re guaranteed satisfaction. Due to demand, tables must be booked for diners.
La Raza is probably best known as one of the liveliest nightspots in the city, serving up a great range of the best music on offer during the week and at the weekend. You’ll find live music 2-3 times per week, Live DJ’s playing a selection of party breaks and lets not forget the house band Booga’s Electric Sauce, who are considered by many as one of the best live bands around.
La Raza is having a brand new facelift this January 2011 – their exciting new refurbishment will completely brighten up the bar and seating area, accompanied by fresh new food and drinks menus that will have everyone talking. La Raza’s Manger, G says ‘We just cant wait to get all of our regulars and new customers into the freshly refurbished La Raza - the new menus, especially the new cocktails, are really gonna go down well with everyone.’
