Following his hugely successful 2008 and 2009 sell-out tours and acclaimed summer festival appearaches, multi-platinum artist Will Young is ready to astound audiences once more with a nationwide tour in October and November. Multi Award winning stand-up television and movie star, Omid Djalili is back on tour with his brand new comedy show. A firm favourite at the Edinburgh Festival with his legendary performances, Omid's stand-up awards include; 'Time Out Award' - for Best Stand Up, the 'EMMA Award' and was a 'South Bank Award' nominee as well as being a 'Perrier Award' nominee.
Burlesque-themed club night Salon Rouge returns to The Junction in November with Pippa The Ripper and Fancy Change plus regular Salon Rouge starlets Felicity Flappes, Cherry Go - Round, Harlow HeartBreak and The Appletinis.
This year's fireworks show will be held on Saturday 5 November, starting at 7.30pm at Midsummer Common.
The fireworks will be preceded by a spectacular fire performance between 7–7.20pm by Wildfire Productions. A bonfire will be lit immediately after the fireworks display.
The Thurston Family Fun Fair will be open from 6–10pm.
