Saturday June 9, Acoustic Routes, CB2, Norfolk St, Cambridge: Lauren McCormick Trio, Amy Obenski (USA), Luke Jackson, 8.30pm, £8. www.acousticroutes.co.uk The Lauren McCormick Trio perform music that weaves traditional and contemporary songs with spellbinding storytelling and fearless vocal accomplishment. Lauren will joined by two members of Mawkin, James Delarre on fiddle and Dave Delarre on guitar. Amy Obenski is a singer songwriter from California whose eclectic sound draws on her background in classical and jazz, with influences ranging from folk to funk. Singer/songwriter Luke Jackson is a young man with prodigious talent. At just 17 years old he has an amazing voice with depth, texture, power, control and volume far beyond his years.
