Open Ipod Night at The Fountain

Set up a 30 minute playlist of your favourite tunes on you iPod, bring it to The Fountain on a Wednesday night, grab a slot and get your chance to control the music. Your music choice delivered straight from your iPod. Some of the best (and possibly worse!) music in Cambridge every Wednesday night.

George will be playing his usual popular set of ‘New York Kaya Jingo’ (Soul & Blues) from 8pm until 10pm. Last time Check out George’s tunes here in the mean time. Thier kitchen is open 7pm-9pm, giving you the perfect oppotunity to relax to some smooth acoustic sounds with some fresh traditional mediterranean tapas. Our bar will be open until 1am with our talented team providing you with delicious cocktails, cold beer and fine wine, straight to your table. We hope to see you there!

Identifying grasshoppers, crickets & their allies at Cambridge University Botanic Garden
18/07/12 - 10am to 4pm - £50, payable in full at time of booking.
The sound of grasshoppers singing is a familiar summer sound. Together with crickets, groundhoppers and cockroaches and earwigs, grasshoppers belong to the Orthoptera and Allies. We will look at recognising the group, their life cycles, ecology and conservation importance. Hands-on identification sessions will enable is to identify them to species level.
